For special applications to reduce airbourne and impact noise reduction in specialty room such as lounge room, home cinemas or multilevel living spaces.
Matrix Industries has developed a complete room acoustic and vibration reduction system for use in new buildings or renovations. This solution uses its patented Matrix ties to isolate the room. By isolating walls, floors and ceilings using Matrix ties and mounts we can effectively manage the sound eminating from the space, allowing greater sound and activity levels to be carried out in this space.
With modern home cinema systems it is important for the user to enjoy the full experience of large screens with full cinema sound, without annoying residents and neighbours.
Construction Type.
1. Double Brick/masonry - By incorporating Matrix MB01 and SB03 into the wall construction, FM01 to support the false floor, CM01 to isolate the ceiling and using our patented isoation foam on all boudaries and power point, vents etc we can effectively isolate the room.
2. Single Masonry - Stud wall - By incorporating Matrix MB04 or SB08 and SB03 into the wall construction, FM01 to support the false floor, CM01 to isolate the ceiling and using our patented isoation foam on all boudaries and power point, vent etc we can effectively isolate the room.
3. Double Stud - By incorporating Matrix SB06 and SB03 into the wall construction, FM01 to support the false floor, CM01 to isolate the ceiling and using our patented isoation foam on all boudaries and power point, vents etc we can effectively isolate the room.
Wall/Floor interfaces are isolated using Matrix resilient ties or directly using isolation foam.
The Matrix solution, together with appropriate windows and/or curtain installation will significantly increase the usability of your space.
